Hello dear host family. I want to tell you about me, in order you could get to know me better.

My name is Olga. I am 29 years old. I live in Belarus. I have a small family. My mom is a laboratory assistant, my dad is a driver. My grandma and grandpa are pensioners. Every Sunday we love to visit them and have a family dinner. Unfortunately, I have neither brothers nor sisters, but I have two cousins: Vadim and Vova. They are both younger than me. Vadim already works as a builder, and Vova – learns to be a doctor. Vova younger than me at 10 years. I still remember how I came to him and we painted and considered the figures together.

As for me, I'm not married. I finished the University and got a speciality of an economist. I taught children to subtract, count, add, to solve equations and others. I worked as an accountant and as a cook in a private kindergarten. I love music, especially classic. Two years I'm learning to play the piano. I think it is very useful for children to learn to play any musical instrument. I play football, volleyball, basketball. My hobby is also to learn English. I believe that for children is useful to know 2 of any languages, as it develops their thinking. I like to play checkers and chess. There are a many interesting and informative books. Such as " Ladies’ happiness "-Émile Zola, the Secret garden and others. Also one of them is the Bible for me. It is a lot of instructive stories for our lives. Also I love to read adventure books.

I do wish to participate in the Au-pair program. I do wish to visit another country, to see a different culture, to improve my English language. Also this is a good opportunity for me to care for children, they say, I've got good at it. I hope our relations with host family will be friendly and warm.

I visited many camps (labor also) as the leader every year. We worked, slept, ate, washed, painted, did hand-made articles, learnt verses, and prepared food together with children. This year I was also in the rest camp for children. We bathe them in the bathtub, helped to get up, helped to cover beds, put to sleep them, played with them, sang songs – we had a funny time. I had a pupil – Dasha. I taught her mathematics (4 class), from time to time I look for children of my friends (Lisa 2 years). About 5 years I teach children in Sunday school (5-12 years)-I'm telling them stories from the Bible, we play together, paint and do handicrafts, sometimes we go to a nearby park - when the weather is good. Every Saturday I work as a volunteer with my volunteer team in an asylum for children. (I will send the picture of our volunteer team to you) We play with them, do hand-made articles, do gifts them, do lessons, have a holidays together.

I love children very much. I think that we, adults, must give children love, teach them, play with them. We must be very attentive to them. And most important is to teach by our own examples. Then, they will grow up good and happy people.

In the future I'd like to get a pedagogical education and to look after children.
