Dear host family

My name is Nadezda, I am 24. I live and work in the city of Krasnoyarsk. I want to tell you a little about my family and myself.

My parents got divorced when I was seven. My mother Irina had married again. She lives with my step-father Alexander in the small town Zheleznogorsk.

My father Evgeni lives alone in Krasnoyarsk. Since I have worked in Krasnoyarsk for the last six months, I am currently living with my father Evgeni. I have a sister, we are twins. Her name is Natasha. She went to Saint-Petersburg after she graduated the university. She has lived and worked there for two years.

My parents and I sometimes visit her. I spent my childhood in Zheleznogorsk. I finished secondary. I also learnt in the school of Arts. Zheleznogorsk is a good and quiet town, which is perfect for families and bringing up children. Young people prefer to leave Zheleznogorsk for bigger cities, because there are more opportunities in bigger cities. This is why my sister and I went to the big city of Krasnoyarsk after we graduated from school. We entered the Krasnoyarsk State Pedagogical University. I studied at the faculty of History as I have always been good at Arts. My sister studied at the faculty of Mathematics as she has always had analytical mind. So from September 2004 to July 2009 we were studying and living in Krasnoyarsk with our father.

Living in a big city has become an interesting experience. We met a lot of new people, made friends with many of them.

We started to learn English while we were doing our 2nd year at university. Also we went in for sports. At that time I got really involved in active rest to be more exact in cross-country skis and mountain skiing. I also continued my regular visit to the swimming pool and the fitness club.

Unfortunately, when I started to work I have not got enough time for sports.

Lessons in the school of Arts were not ineffective. I am interested in art, I love art, I love to do crafts. For example I opened new hobby two years ago- is knitting needle. And I do it with enjoyment in free evenings. More than that, my mother and I like to do crafts. We sew bright summer bags from old materials.

I have other hobbies too. There is a passion to travels in our family. We try to go on vacation once at year. We prefer to rest on the sea, more often we rest in Ukraine. But we also really like to discover for us new countries. My sister and I have been in Prague. It was exciting trip! On the trip my family and I also like to go to theatres and museums. We like walking street as locals.

My step-father is a mechanic. He loves cars so much and we drive by car anywhere.

I have very good relationships with my family. There is love and respect in our family.

Several words about my present life. I am a manager in company, which provides the Internet. It is a good work but I would prefer other activity. I like different foreign languages so much, but now I want to know English as native. As I was studying at historical faculty, I have always interested history and culture of Europe.

I suppose that if I want to be well-experience teacher and if I want to connect my life with education I must to become an erudite person.

I hope that we will have friendly relationships with my host family and that we could find common interest and we could become friends.
