Let me introduce myself.
My name is Tanya. I was born on the 16-th of July, 1981, in the town of Chigirin, the Cherkassy Region. My family is
neither large nor small. I have a mother, a father and a sister. My father was
a teacher of Math, my mother was a saleswoman. Now my parents are pensioners.
Valya is my younger sister. She is married and has a baby. From time to time I
play with my niece if I have free time. I have a lot of cousins and friends.
After finishing school I
have been looking after my niece during 5 years. Her father was German and so I
learned German. I took part in the program “Au-pair” and went to Germany, because I wanted to learn German
better. There I met a wonderful family. That family is very nice and civilized.
After finishing visa I went home but I visited the family on summer holidays
next year.
When I was at home I
entered the Foreign Languages Department of the University in Cherkassy. Now I am studying at the 5 course
of study. I can speak German better than English, because I haven’t practice. I
want to go to other countries, to get acquainted with other people and their
traditions and to learn English better. I like little children very much and I
think that I would be a good baby-sitter.
I am a busy person and a
have not a lot of time to cook different dishes at home. That is why my mother
cooks and I help her to lay the table and wash up. On Sunday I work at the
small bakery and so raise my pin money.
Life is quite difficult
now, but I want to have an interesting job, to see other countries and to have
a good future. I will improve my command of English, because I realize that the
knowledge of languages is very important nowadays.
I like to do different
things. I like to read books, to listen to the music, to travel, to knit
different things, to draw and to do many other things.
The previous family is
very nice. I helped it about the house, took care of the children. I learned a
lot of things.
