My
name is Mariya. I am a student of the Institute of Foreign
Languages. I learn the English language and it helps me to get known many
interesting facts about different countries, its cultures and also about
specific national peculiarities of people. I think that it is very important
for everybody to enlarge the scope that's why I want to be a participant of the
very popular program AU- PAIR. I hope that it can help me to understand the
surrounding world better and join to the international culture. I want to start
learning one of European language and meet friendly family in which I shall be
a helper about the house and a real friend for children.
I
have been working with children for four years. I am a teacher of the secondary
school and I like my profession very much. I think that it is the unwritten
feeling when a person presents a little piece of himself for a child. Children
are the best what we have. I try to take care of their well - being and promote
the personalities' full development.
As
for me I try to develop myself too. I read very many books about different
themes. I am fond of reading foreign literature and best of all novels such
writers as Charles Dickens, William Shakespeare, Ernest Hemingway and very many
others. I also read historical books and it is very important for me to know
the history of my country and main events of the world civilization.
I
have many different hobbies. I like to ride a bicycle, play table tennis and
volley - ball. When I have free time I relax at home I may embroider colorful
pictures and towels. I also can sew on the electric and hand machines. When the
weather is fine I often run outside and do physical jerks. I try to keep fit in
spite of I am very busy.
At
school I attended dance classes and gymnastic club. I like active rest and
often go to the country on picnics. I have a dog. Its name is Charck. It is
very funny. My family and I have rabbits and we take care of them. We eat
health food and grow some vegetables, fruits, berries in our kitchen garden. I
can cook and do it with pleasure.
I
also help my parents about the house: wash up, sweep and clean the floor, wipe
the dust and do other house work. We have many flowers at home and there are
very many tulips and daffodils in the flower - beds in the yard. It is a very
beautiful view in spring when they are in bloom.
And now I am waiting for a meeting with my future
family and want to become a good member of it.
